Revision Notes

  • TinyMight 1.5 (c. 2020–2021): a community-designated transitional run with tighter tolerances and improved button/battery door. The manufacturer never used the “1.5” designation; the distinction is identifiable only by build-date/serial ranges 1.
  • The OG was superseded by the TinyMight 2 (2022), which changed the heater to a 70 W stainless steel spiral, added USB-C, and enlarged the body 12.
  • Early units carry no serial number; “blue PCB = fake” is a community anti-counterfeit heuristic, not a manufacturer statement 1.

Safety & Use Notes

  • Manufacturer guidance applies to the TinyMight platform generally (the FAQ does not distinguish OG from TM2): use only high-current 18650 batteries, since underpowered cells “will not work as supposed” and can drive the heater into a short-circuit condition that reaches “insanely high temperatures” and can melt the screen; use only the manufacturer’s own accessories for this reason 2.
  • A short circuit of this kind can also damage the control electronics outright 2.
  • Device is user-serviceable (replaceable battery, removable stems); see the official manual for cleaning and calibration 1.
