IOLITE WISPR 2 (TED-0022)

Technical Specifications

Property Specification
Manufacturer Oglesby & Butler Ltd (IOLITE / WISPR)
Part Number Not published by the manufacturer — the Instruction Manual lists no model/part number distinct from “WISPR” generically 1, and no live official IOLITE product page exists to check: https://www.oandbltd.com does not resolve (checked 2026-08-08). Retailer-assigned catalog codes (e.g. Canatura/Buds for Buddies per-colorway product codes) are not manufacturer part numbers and are not transcribed here 2

Revision Notes

  • The WISPR 2 supersedes the WISPR (2011): higher fixed temperature (210 °C vs 190 °C), ≈30 s heat-up (vs ≈30–40 s), larger oven, fold-away silicone mouthpiece, and a mesh vent grill (reported) 3.
  • The WISPR 2 appears to be the final butane model in the IOLITE line; the WISPR E (2024/25) shifted to a battery-powered design (reported) 3.
  • Unresolved conflict, flagged rather than silently resolved: Oglesby & Butler’s own web-development agency states the IOLITE brand “ceased production in 2023” 5, which predates the WISPR E dating above (2024/25, from internal dossier provenance). Neither claim is deleted; a reader should treat both as reported/uncertain until a primary source settles it.

Safety & Use Notes

  • Manufacturer/manual warnings: flammable gas under pressure, upright filling, do not overfill, wait 5 minutes if overfilled 1.
