Regulatory Overview
Louisiana’s therapeutic marijuana program is regulated by the Louisiana Department of Health (oversight) and the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy (dispensing via licensed pharmacies). An adult-use pilot program bill (HB 373) was not enacted in 2026, and the governor instead signed a cannabis recriminalization measure.
