Regulatory Overview
New Jersey legalized adult use in 2020 (Public Question 1), with retail sales from April 2022, regulated by the Cannabis Regulatory Commission. The medical program dates to 2010. The CRC’s official FAQ states that the Commission does not permit individuals to grow cannabis; proposed home-grow legislation is not current authorization.
