Cannabinoids Reference Index

Catalog of phytocannabinoid compounds detected in cannabis laboratory analysis and botanical sources.

This collection provides chemical identity (with PubChem/NIST-verified identifiers), physical property data, evidence-classified biological research, and thermal extraction context. Boiling points are reported at their stated reference pressure, and for every major cannabinoid the record states explicitly that the compound thermally degrades (decarboxylates or oxidizes) before it can boil intact at atmospheric pressure — the “boiling point” figures circulating in vaporizer marketing are not thermodynamic boiling points and are never treated as device setpoint recommendations.

Acid and neutral forms (e.g., THCA vs. THC, CBDA vs. CBD), positional isomers (Δ9 vs. Δ8), geometric isomers, and enantiomers are kept as distinct identities and are never collapsed. Cannabis occurrence statements are attached to measured batches and reports, never written as universal cultivar claims. Biological activity is separated into human clinical evidence, human observational evidence, preclinical animal evidence, in vitro evidence, mechanistic evidence, traditional use, and industry claims, and is never silently upgraded across evidence classes.

All satellite records in this collection follow the form identifier schema cannabinoids/TCBN-XXXX.
