Overview

The CPSC recalled affected Arizer Solo II portable vaporizers because of a fire and burn hazard associated with the internal lithium-ion battery. The recall identifies affected devices by serial numbers beginning with M2 and provides a free Solo II MAX replacement remedy 1.

Consumers should stop using an affected device and follow the current CPSC and Arizer instructions for replacement and disposal. Recalled units should not be discarded in household trash or general recycling; use the disposal process in the official notice 1.

Device Record Boundary

The archive currently models the Solo III as devices/TED-0001; it does not yet have a separate Solo II device entity. This recall is therefore related to the Arizer manufacturer record only and is not related to the Solo III record.
