Engineering Revisions
Rev 2 (2023-11-29): the manufacturer’s ZenLeaf Engineering Update (Revision Log) documents a snap-on aluminum plate that “will complement the heat shield by further reflecting radiant heat coming from the coil.” The plate can be retrofitted to existing units and comes pre-installed on newly manufactured units. The manufacturer states the update produces “a temperature deflection of 200F +/- as measured on the surface where it is being used compared to a unit without this update” — a manufacturer measurement claim, not an independently verified figure — and links an installation video from the same page 3.
Family Context
- The Whisper is the entry point of the second-generation ZenLeaf base-station lineup (Whisper, Nova, Bliss, Fusion) — the smallest station, designed for users who already own an enail controller 3.
- The base-station architecture superseded the first-generation Mary/Jane cordless diffusers (c. 2022) 35.
- As of 2026-08-08 the Whisper’s product page no longer resolves and the model is absent from the live ZenLeaf collection (see Release Period); its siblings Nova and Fusion carry an explicit manufacturer “discontinued” notice directing customers to the ZenLeaf MOAB, which is circumstantial evidence for the Whisper but not a manufacturer statement about the Whisper specifically 2.
- Contested “smallest” claim: the manufacturer has made two “smallest in the ZenLeaf series” claims at different times about different products. The “NEW ZenLeaf Series” blog post describes the Whisper as “the smallest footprint in the ZenLeaf series of cordless Dry Herb Vaporizers” — the Whisper’s own product record dates to 2023-09, and the post carries a dated Rev 2 entry from 2023-11-29 3. The Zion product page, first listed 2024-03-28, states “Introducing Zion - the smallest and most affordable device in the ZenLeaf vaporizer series” 6. Both are manufacturer marketing claims made roughly six months apart about different-generation products; the archive records both rather than picking a side.
Safety Notes
- Manufacturer ZenLeaf warnings apply: do not leave the station unattended while hot; the base and heated heads are burn hazards 34.
Related Devices
- Manufactured by Cannabis Hardware, LLC.
- Sibling stations: Nova, Bliss, Fusion.
- Later BYO-PID station in the same role: Zion (2024-03), which adds 20 mm barrel-coil compatibility alongside the 25 mm axial coil.

Cannabis Hardware, ZenLeaf Wireless Dry Herb Ball Vape Stations collection JSON and site product sitemap (observed 2026-08-08): the Whisper is absent from the 34-product collection listing and does not appear anywhere in the site’s product sitemap, and no plausible product URL (e.g.
/products/whisper) resolves (HTTP 404). No manufacturer discontinuation notice was found for the Whisper specifically, so this status is inferred from delisting, not manufacturer-confirmed. https://www.cannabishardware.com/collections/zenleaf-wireless-vaporizer/products.json ↩ ↩2 -
